Customer Service


The Process:

  • You will receive email or SMS confirmation when your order has been received (order confirmation).
  • You will receive shipment confirmation with your tracking # via email or SMS, when your order is complete and being shipped out. 
  • You will receive an out for delivery notification, the day your order is being delivered. 
  • You will receive notification when your order has been delivered.

Production Time:

Each piece is made by hand and made to order, please allow up to 10 business days(Mon-Fri) before your order is shipped. Your order will be made in the order it was received. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your order has shipped.

Should you need an item sooner, feel free to email: Orders@afrohemien.com to see if it is possible to have your order expedited, before you place your order.

SHIPPING

Domestic Shipping:

USPS First Class: 2-5 days with tracking, insurance not included. 

USPS Priority Mail: 1-3 days with tracking + $50 insurance. 

USPS Express Shipping: 1-2 days delivery with tracking + $100 insurance.

Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided at checkout. If you would like to add additional services such as insurance, please contact me via email for a price quote at: Orders@Afrohemien.com.

International Shipping:

USPS First Class International: 2-6 weeks delivery. Tracking not included.

USPS Priority International: 6-10 business days with tracking + $200 insurance.

USPS Express International: 3-5 business days + $200 insurance. 

International buyers are responsible for any customs fees.Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided at checkout. I am not responsible for packages lost in transit. If you would like to add additional services such as insurance, please contact me via email for a price quote at: Orders@Afrohemien.com.

We can not guarantee how long it will take for international packages to be received. Customs is unpredictable and can hold you package longer than 6 weeks. For international delays, please contact your local customs office. 

We do not refund for packages lost in transit. 

We do not refund or replace stolen or un-retrieved packages marked as delivered. Please be sure to delivery address is correct. 

Returned packages due to incorrect address will incur a reshipment fee. 

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:

Due to the handmade nature, I do not accept returns. Exchanges are accepted on all items (except earrings). Please contract me within 3 days after receiving your item. Item must have not been worn, damaged, or altered and sent back in the original packaging with receipt of purchase.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping cost. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit, it’s recommended that tracking is added to any returned packages.

 All sale items and custom items are final sale.

PAYMENT:

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discovery) transactions securely through Paypal. You will receive confirmation of your order through email. Taxes are applied to all Illinois orders.
